Rahm Carrington

Rahm Carrington is a film photographer and visual storyteller whose work is rooted in authenticity, human connection, and lived experience. Through an intentional documentary style, he creates images that go beyond simple observation—capturing real moments with emotion, depth, and a strong sense of personal perspective. With a creative background that began in the music industry, Carrington first developed his storytelling eye while filming concerts and working behind the scenes of live performances. Over time, he shifted toward still photography after inheriting his father’s 35mm camera—an experience that helped shape both his artistic direction and passion for analog work. His photography continues to reflect that same sense of movement, intimacy, and atmosphere found in the worlds he documents. Carrington’s work often explores themes of identity, place, heritage, and human connection, photographed with a raw and honest approach. Whether documenting people, landscapes, or environments, his goal is to create images that feel personal and immersive—inviting viewers to not only see the moment, but feel it. His photography has been featured in exhibitions and collections and includes impactful projects like Uniform 300, a portrait series that highlights the diversity of San Antonio and was displayed across public spaces to connect communities through shared visibility.
